 Let the spirit of love live. Elf spots.. CLOSED! (going through remaining applications still)
= ctJemm here! Listen carefully! We are opening ONLY FIFTY (50) more spots for joining our secret elf society!
REQUIREMENTS:
 This time, you have to be at least at an intermediate level in your drawing/CG skills. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this, please understand we need elves that can deliver presents that have quality of some sort. If you feel you are up to calibre, you are welcome to apply. This rule is not hard and strict though, so everyone is welcome to try at it. If we see you have spirit and can do this, we'll take you on in, and there is a forum of sorts in the elf's hideout where you can get critique on your projects.
You MUST be able to fulfill at LEAST three requests. No exceptions.
You must have SPEED. We only have three weeks left until showtime, so we can't waste time briefing/poking new elves on getting things done.
We prefer drawers, writers can not apply as elves this year because we have no writing requests coming in. :c sorry about that. ALL GENRES OF DRAWING are accepted (we need it!)
MOST OF ALL, if you have already sent in a request to be fulfiled, NO, you can NOT become an elf! The idea of an elf is to give without receiving anything at ALL. We cannot filter through notes to find requests that you may have sent to reject it, it is way too late for that.
APPLICATION FORM:
Send a note entitled "Elf Application" to THIS account. Any note of another title will be read LAST, if at all.
Put in a few words on why you think you'll be useful as an elf, and link us to 2 or 3 pieces of your art, if possible.

Welcome to Santa's Workshop!! A place where you can write a letter to dear old Santa to have any desired character drawn by one of his 200 faithful Elves! Before you begin writing your letter to us, you must read these following guidelines:
- You must have a DeviantART account registered before October 31st, 2008.
- You can only have a maximum of one character drawn.
- Improper manners will result as an automatic rejection (aka the naughty list).
- You are not allowed to ask which elf you want to have your request drawn by. The system is completely anonymous. When you get your gift, you will know who it is from.
- Do not whine about your gift. Santa makes sure that his elves put their best effort for everyone this year; we would appreciate if you respected that and gladly accept what you receive.
- Do not rewrite another letter stating “Scrap the last one; this is what I really want…” Once the note has been sent to the workshop, chances are that it has already been sent to the elves' shop as well. There is no re-sending or canceling of requests, so word it well.
- Please understand that not everyone will have a gift given to them this year. Elves can do so much in so little time! We thank those who understand.
- Do not ask for the list of elves or to have your character drawn by a certain elf. The picking system is entirely random.

You can choose one of these templates and fill in the blanks. If you want it to be more personal, you can make up your own letter template. You can have only one character drawn, so choose very wisely before putting your letter in the mail box. If you want to write your own version of your letter, be sure to include which character you want drawn, a reference, and from which series they are from (Fan Art only). Also, be sure to thank Santa and his cherished elves for all of their hard work~ <3
ATTENTION!!!!! Please stop sending in Dear Santa Letters! As the workshop already announced, Santa's Workshop 2008 has already come to an end!
Please make sure to send your letter in BEFORE 10 O' CLOCK MIDNIGHT GMT on DECEMBER 17TH. The letters take a long time to reach North Pole due to shipping~ If you send it later on, it will not reach Santa before he hops on his sleigh.
